The tournament saw Ivan Ljubicic break through to win his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Title in a tight match defeating World No. 8 Andy Roddick 7-6, 7-6 in the finals on Sunday afternoon. On the women’s side, Jelena Jankovic clinched her 12th career title with a decisive victory over No. 2 seed Caroline Wozniaki 6-2, 6-4.
